Jacksonville’s fire fighters work tirelessly to provide the highest level of fire protection, rescue and emergency services available.
The JAFF’s role is to advocate on important safety issues on behalf of the fire fighters you see on the streets every day, making sure they have the best equipment, and the proper number of fire fighters to respond when you need them.
We also work to educate city leaders, both elected and appointed, to make sure they can make the most informed decisions possible on public safety.
Supporting our community
Whether it is filling the boot for children battling neuromuscular diseases or helping with one of the many veteran-based issues in our city, Jacksonville’s fire fighters are serving our city both on duty and off.
Our charitable arm, the Jacksonville Firefighters Charities, helps to move our community forward by donating to initiatives that help advance the quality of life for the people we serve. Your donation can help us continue these efforts.
